Elements Therapeutic Massage, a membership-based massage franchise with 14 studios in Massachusetts, announced they are partnering with the Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids charitable organization, founded by the Boston Red Sox first baseman. The organization is dedicated to rallying local and corporate support for charities focused on the health and wellbeing of children.

10 month old Logan and his family are staying at Christopher's Haven. They are from Ohio.

On Halloween,  Dan Olsen attended the Celtis game with Drew(dad) and Jordan Smith who are staying at Christopher's Haven.

Jordan was a cool Power Ranger and saw lots of great costumes (and great basketball.. the Celts won by 20 over the Bulls).

The First Annual Christopher's Haven Golf Classis took place on a beautiful day on the exquisite grounds of the Sterling National Country Club. Ninety golfers enjoyed the day as they raised funds to support a new apartment at Christopher's Haven. The event was generously co-sponsored by Sterling National Country Club, Kevin Youkilis' Hits for Kids, and Morgan Stanley|The DWA Group in Worcester. WE HAVE PHOTOS!

The 2nd Annual Christopher's Haven Golf Classic is scheduled for September 1, 2009.

Soho the Dog (a.k.a. Matthew Guerreri) designed some shirts about Strauss and Mahler.  Yes, those Strauss and Mahler guys of classical music fame.  All profits go to Christopher's Haven.  Check it out here.

Thanks again to our wonderful friends at On Your Feet Project for partnering with Christopher's Haven. Their most recent adventure to benefit our organization was an outing to the Nashoba Winery in Bolton MA http://volunteer-boston.blogspot.com/2008/09/tastemakers.html. Other recent fun-raising activities have included wine tastings and salsa dance parties. And the organization, which recently celebrated it's third anniversary, turned our volunteers in force to set up new Christopher's Haven apartments in June.  

On Wednesday, July 9, Kevin Youkilis and Enza Sambataro distributed checks totaling $250,000 to Christopher's Haven, Italian Home for Children, and Joslin Diabetes Center's Pediatric Health Services.
